Twilight Camp is over for the season, but we look forward to seeing you next year!  This is what the kids did in 2014:

What is Twilight Camp?
Twilight camp is an after school/evening camp for Cub Scouts in Kindergarten - 4th grades.  They complete a bunch of activities, earn awards, and have fun in the outdoors!

What will Scouts do there?
Archery
Climbing Wall (with Cubmaster Chris)
Slingshot (with Grampa Jan)
Rope Bridge
Tug-O-War
Vine Swinging
Ultimate Frisbee
Make resin neckerchief slides
Launch water bottle rockets
Crafts - make bolo ties (with Wolf Den Leader Nancy)
Play Beep Ball (learning about Special Needs)
Orienteering
Campfire with flag retiring ceremony
Skits and songs
Knot tying (with Big Sis Mackenzie)

When is it?
It is June 4th, 5th, & 6th from 3:30-8:30pm.  Check-in starts at 3:30, but the program does not begin until 4:15.  It is at Crow Island Woods in Winnetka

How much does it cost?
$65 per Scout, required leaders are free.  The cost includes the patch, t-shirt, Archery & Ultimate Belt Loops, dinner & snacks, crafts, and all activities!

What awards will Scouts earn?
They will receive a patch for coming, the Archery Belt Loop, & Ultimate Belt Loop.  They will have the opportunity to work on pins, and this is the last chance to go to camp to earn the Outdoor Activity Award this year!  Also, note that this is a rare opportunity to do Archery - it can only be completed (and awards earned) at a BSA-approved camp.  They will also get credit towards Leave No Trace.

Anything else?
Friday evening the whole family is invited to a campfire to see the Scouts perform the new skits and songs they learned.  They also have the opportunity to pay and join in on a meal with the rest of the group.

How do we sign up?
Contact Jill at evanstonpack901@gmail.com immediately!  Payment is due at time of registration.  The very few remaining spots will sell out very quickly.
